कई बार संगीरकार किसी गीत के पीछे चल रहे संगीत को मुख्य संगीत की तरह प्रयोग करते हैं. इसमें भी ऐसा किया गया है. एक गीत था वर्मन दा का लता की आवाज़ थी- ठंडी हवाएँ लहरा के आएँ रुत है जवाँ तुम को यहाँ कैसे बुलाएँ. लगता था कि गीत शुद्ध मध्यकालीन नसों और वातावरण से निकला है. तब कहीं पढ़ा था कि वह किसी विदेशी गीत की नकल थी. हमेशा की तरह आपने नकल को पहचाना.
